I come from Bangalore, the silicon valley of India and the capital of the
lovely state of Karnataka.
I graduated from Karnataka Regional Engineering College, now known as NITK)
in 2002. I am in Manhattan, KS since fall 2002.
Research:
I am interested in Multi-agent Systems. I am working with Dr. DeLoach on my
thesis. We are investigating issues related to reorganization triggers and
automated reorganization. As a case study, I am using the grid-world search
and rescue problem.
I am interested in the use multi-agent societies to model some of the problems
in social sciences like economics and political sciences.
Interests:
I am a dedicated death metal fan. My favorite bands include Krisiun, Pessimist,
Nile, Rudra, Slayer, Sepultura, At The Gates, Suffocation, Darkane etc.
I also listen to Hindustani and Carnatic classical music. Sanjeev Abhyankar is
my favorite hindustani vocalist.
Activities:
I am the President of the Indian Student Association at K-State for the year 2004.
We have lots of activities planned for the summer of 2004. So keep an eye of the
ISA website.
