High School Programming Contest
For more than 25 years, the department has sponsored an annual programming contest for Kansas high school students.
Cyber Pipeline
The goal of the Cyber Pipeline program is to make quality computer science education available to all high school students at little or no cost to them. It incorporates the basic Computational Core state-of-the-art curriculum using the latest technologies and educational practices. And best of all, it is completely free.
ACM Programming Contest
Hackathon
Hack K-State is a 36-hour hackathon at Kansas State University organized by students, for students. Our organizing team works year-round to put on the event with tasks such as gathering sponsors, planning events for the weekend, and figuring out logistics with the venue, just to name a few. The competition is open to both college and high school students.
Game Jam
The K-State Annual Invitational Game Jam is a weekend-long competion to develop an original game. Teams of 1-4 students collaborate to create a game embracing a theme announced at the beginning of the Jam. The competition is open to both college and high school students.
