For Computer Science students, the realtionships built from internships can secure you a position with an influential company right out of graduation. Outside job-search websites like Indeed also host internship listings. You must be careful with third-party internship listings, so make sure to research the company offering the internship prior to submitting any information and try to find the listing on their company website.
An often overlooked way to find an internship is through local government. For example, the City of Manhattan maintains an enitre website for their job and internship listings! Check out government and parks and recreation websites in nearby communities for even more opportunities.
